Reperio are working with a software company that is currently undergoing extensive growth. They are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimise their data infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building robust data pipelines, enhancing data quality, and ensuring seamless data integration across the organisation. You will have a significant role to play in developing ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data from multiple sources.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks).
• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Apache NiFi).
• Knowledge of containerization and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink) is a plus.
